I love the painted hills. Have not been in a while. Not much out there other than that. But, amazing place to visit. Took this panorama a few years ago. https://www.zeissimages.com/photo/500487

Wow. I remember years ago shooting the launch from CC. I was a stringer for UPI. I also remember shooting with the F2AS with the motor drive and using it as a hammer to unlock a stuck tripod. Can't do that these days with modern cameras!

Stormy weather. How are you liking the SL? I just took out my SL2-S yesterday for the first time in since April or May. I enjoyed the experience and did not realize how pleasant it was until I shot with it again.

JT wrote: Wow. They don't build them like they use to. What is interesting is that most of the grand structures were build over a period of hundreds of years yet the funding for them remained in place even after political landscape changes in the country they are built in.

Hi JT, it's a beast alright. The church is 137 m in length under 33 m high vaults. It is currenty under extensive repairs, that's why not many people know it is open. So nobody inside but me.

Yes. The focus is difficult with the 135. Shooting it on my older d3s or d4 was hit or mis. It was actually easier on the f6. But regardless, I love this lens.
