Yes I usually use the white balance adjuster - I try to match the actual color I perceived when taking the shot. I prefer "Natural" color for Flower backgrounds - Sky, grass, dirt etc - however the blue plastic tarp (ugh) was there - so I shot it.

I agree that the lighting is somewhat harsh, but the colors contrasted nicely with the background. A stunning shot. Did you do any white balance correction to give that background that blue color?

Maybe a little harsh light-wise but definitely pretty strong in colors.
