This summer, I took a solo trip into the Eagle Creek Wilderness with a couple cameras including a Hasselblad 500cm and the Zeiss 80mm f/2.8. To get just the right composition required standing in about 2 feet of freezing water, for about 20 minutes waiting for other visitors to clear out of the shot.
