The sun on this morning was barely up. What caught my eye as I worked my way up stream to the lower falls was the reflection of the golden sky on the water.
January in upstate NY sees most water turn to a solid. Behind the falls at Christman Sanctuary outside of Delanson, NY. The sanctuary is under the auspices of the Nature Conservancy.
