Burnham Beeches, Buckinghamshire. Such a beautiful site to visit but I have struggled for a long time to capture the crazy Arcadian nature of the heathy woodland areas in photographs. A telephoto allowed some exclusion of the chaos to focus on a few strong shapes and textures. Always a place to return to...

Thanks all! This man was praying at Jambay Lhakhang. Jambay Lhakhang is located in Jakar in Bhutan, and is said to be one of the 108 temples built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo in 659 AD on a single day, to pin down an ogress to earth forever.

Like the composition and the mood of this one. I would make the green a little less dominant, because my eye keeps going to the green fields on the right.
Nice one!

I really like the Loxia 50mm f:2.0 very much indeed. It suits my A7R to a T. Construction quality is excellent, haptics are great, with the auto-magnification feature when you focus. IQ is very good indeed. Colours and contrast are world-class. Lots of detail. Some loss of sharpness wide open, as in all lenses. I wish it were a tad more flare-resistant, and bokeh can be busy if you have light-sources in the frame. So it is not an Otus-killer, but then, for the money, what is? I was quite happy to sell my FE 55 and keep the Loxia.
