Great shot. Gorilla Pod attached to the front of the pew? Got the dynamic range in this one. Stephen

This is interesting. Where these cannons originally on ships or were they around the building for defense? If around the building I would guess they were mounted on wheels at one time.

Extraordinary! Pardon the pun, but great flow, and rock-solid composition.

Detail of entrance to St John's College, Cambridge, England... a very dull day, not good for 'building photos' but I had spent a gallon of expensive petrol to get there so took some shots on outdated 1996 Ilford FP4,home-processed in Acutol-S Formula 1+1 for 14 mins.

a street in Cambridge on the way to King's College -- cars are banned now-- you have to go 'Park and Ride' from outside the City. I used outdated 1996 Ilfor FP4 film, rated 80ASA, home-processsed in Acutol-S Formula 1+1 for 14 mins.

Exterior of King's College, Cambridge on a very dull day. I used outdated 1996 Ilford FP4 film home-processed in Acutol-S Formula 1+1 for 14 mins. They charge £5-00 Adults and £3-95 kids and pensioners to go in now !

A very dull day in Cambridge, England -- unlucky with the light (as usual!) -- this is the River cam with the 'Mathematical Bridge',taken at full aperture on my 50mm CFi Distagon lens, outdated 1996 Ilford FP4 film home-processed in Acutol-S Fromula 1+1 for 14 mins.

Thanks, modusoperandi & lollus. The lighting is mostly from a Sony HVL-F58AM flash triggered wirelessly from the left & a reflector placed to the right (if I remember correctly...). The light falling on her head is from the sun shinning through the clouds. How she looks so fresh? Could be her mother's or her boyfriend's work. *hahaha*

This is a great environmental portrait. Good colour, well composed. Perhaps her expression is not the best for the photograph, but the overall image is very good.

Can you post the same pic without HDR? I am asking because it is very pretty but looks unnatural and I wanted to compare it to one single old fashioned exposure.

Did you use the left-right(tight)-behind strobes? And how does she look so fresh? Well I guess this is her mother who did a good job :-)

I've been experimenting with PP and trying some extreme changes applied to the B&W conversion.
