Pr- you are correct on the focus - subjects were moving very quickly and I was wide open - although the DOF 135 when its this close in is extremely limited even if I had more light and could stop down. With moving subject matter it is always something!! That's why mountains, buildings and trees are so much easier to shoot!!

I like this perspective on the railroad bridge - the moon is always a challenge to capture detail and form

Lilia - It is indeed an interesting bridge - whether its viewed close up or from far away. It was designed by Ralph Modjeski, who is also credited as the Chief Engineer for the the Manhattan and Oakland Bay bridge - not sure about the Queensboro bridge but there could easily have been adaptation or borrowing of engineering style as Modjeski is thought of as one of the leading early 20th century bridge designers in the US. I am starting to look more closely at bridge construction and detail thanks to this site!!

Delicate and graceful. Reminds me of a ballerina's tutu.
