Thanks for your kind words, James, they are much appreciated. However, before you jump on the ZE85 bandwagon, be aware that this wonderful lens also has limitations, so that you don't buy something less than totally satisfactory.

I love looking at photos like this with interesting geometry going on. I love how the extra column of lines to the right of the door gives the photo a dynamic unbalanced feel.

Nothing else can be said about this photo that does it justice. The mixture of color combinations, movement and even natural lighting are just perfect.

Absolutely amazing scene. I think I'd be too stunned at the beauty to be able to compose myself and capture such a photo.

Definitely great color and texture in the sky. The points of light take it beyond the normal "Sunset Silhouette" photo.

you have sold me on the Ze 1.4 85mm. These portraits are great! You definetely have an intuitive sence at capturing people in a subtle yet powerful way.

Thanks for the comment! I actually played around with isolating the rocks with a crop but felt that I liked having some of the shore area at the bottom, it seems to anchor the photo a bit.

Thanks for the comment Stephen and I think you are right. I revisited the image and brought the WB down a bit. I made quite a few other changes including a slight recropping.

Interesting image but I think that the White Balance could advantageously be altered by reprocessing the RAW Frame again. I personally think that it needs to be taken down to about 4800K. As it stands, I am not keen on the over yellow hue. It would be nice if someone else had a view, but not that many people seem prepared to comment on this site at the moment. Regards Stephen

Interesting image. Trying to work out in my mind if it might benefit from being cropped higher up the frame. The rock in isolation perhaps? See if anyone else has a view. Stephen

Like the way that her head and body take you bottom left to top right across the frame. Stephen

This looks like it has a blue canvas stretched tight over the cables.
