In the Sunnyside acres forest I found a large stray granite boulder. Where did it come from? I haven't seen another here before. The vine mirrored blue from the granite, or was it the other way round? Makes a great black & white image, but the color has something to say. No color enhancement and minimal post processing.

A vast stone structure built in the 13th century by the Cistercian monks of Beaulieu. Described by William Morris as being "noble as a cathedral" and certainly in its cruciform shape and soaring interior, it is very cathedral like. The lines of ties, braces and struts in the roof space are a lesson in medieval architecture.
