Sonnet by Alfred Tennyson -
Below the thunders of the upper deep;
Far far beneath in the abysmal sea,
His ancient, dreamless, uninvaded sleep
The Kraken sleepeth: faintest sunlights flee
About his shadowy sides; above him swell
Huge sponges of millennial growth and height;
And far away into the sickly light,
From many a wondrous grot and secret cell
Unnumber'd and enormous polypi
Winnow with giant arms the slumbering green.
A tribute by the people of Zermatt in Switzerland to the longest serving mountain guide in history. Born in 1900, Ulrich Inderbinen made 370 ascents of the Matterhorn, the last when he was 90 years old.

ARE YOU SPYING ON ME?? :+)
Really? I didn't realize that release was back on for October. They've been talking about it for two years now, and I felt like the whole idea got canned last year around this time. I haven't seen anything online with a recent date attached to it for the new 55... would love to see what you found?

Imagine, here I was following these 2 nutty characters while we were in the midst of crowds of people in Chinatown rushing home from work who completely ignored us. Only in New York would this be ignored!
Happy to tell you the story.....

Yes this is one of my fav sushi places in New York. New York is so chalked full of interesting things, the toughest part is not getting too distracted by all the scenes you want to shoot so you can actually take some photos :)
Night scenes with fast lenses are my absolute fav! This was actually a hip shot while I was sitting at a bar... not in great focus, but still turned out to have a really nice feel that fit perfectly with the atmosphere.
