I've been using my 55mm as a walk-around lens, shooting a multishot pano when I need to go wider. This took two rows of 3 verticals to showcase The Mountain Loop valley with Three Fingers and Whitehorse mountains behind.
Very nice! Some day I hope to get back to the west. Couple more years til retirement and that's definitely on my bucket list. Have to settle for the Adirondacks, Catskills and the Berkshires for the time being.

Jorge,
I'm currently shooting the D810. Thanks for sharing that link: nice writeup and wonderful images. The bokeh from the 85 is just beautiful! The 85 is surely a big, heavy piece of glass, but getting the very best images one can make is, IMO, more important than weight considerations. I'll bet that you'll love the 50/1.4...fantastic lens!

I'm still waiting. I can't believe you got your Nikon mount version so soon. I'm jealous.
But yes, bokeh from these lenses look amazing!
