What great dynamic in the 2 trees in the foreground, especially against the blue backdrop of the mountains. Well exposed winter-scene in harsh sunlight. I can feel the cold ...!
Hand held - the D850 has an amazing sensor and when coupled with a Zeiss lens it is probably as good as full frame can get. This is literally the 15th image taken with the new D850 for me.
D'ACCORD. Je suis désolé d'avoir commis cette erreur. J'étais sûr que c'était d'un endroit où je me suis rendu visite, il y a quelques années. Comme vous l'avez dit, beaucoup d'îles se ressemblent! Merci pour le rappel!
Very nice! Good composition, light and colors. Also excellent sharpness. I have been sitting on this very table, eating lunch with my wife, in Kokari / Samos island / Greece - about 5 years ago ...!
Thanks for the look.
Best regards from Norway.

I did a quick overview on the lens on Wikipedia. Then I went to B&H to see if it is available and read the reviews. It appears that the Takumar design has been discontinued but they are still available on ebay (and reasonable priced at that) . But I need to read up more on this before I can make any kind of decision. On B&H the few reviews that I read on the Pentax are saying that the 100mm struggles with CA, which was my struggles with this photo. I did find some Groups on Flickr that feature Takumar and will peruse it some later this evening.
Sell me on it. Why Pentax SMC Takumar?
I was amazed at the detail that the camera caught behind the transparent drapes that were red. What I was seeing, and what came out in the color shot (https://www.flickr.com/photos/damessenjah/34335502412/in/dateposted/) was just the red with very little detail of what was behind the drapes.
