Hi Cliff, it's not so unwieldy as to be a problem. It focuses fast and paired with the 110, makes for a formidable combo. Sometimes, I go out with 2 bodies and a lens on each.

Like this a lot. Interested in the street use of this lens. I have one, and some 2000 series bodies, but given its heft hadn't used it in street situations. It's one of my favorite lenses. I'm now inspired to get out in the street with it!

I used a 2003fcw and a 50 mm 2.8 Distagon, probably at 2.8, the light was quite low.
