Thanks Rick. I went across to Bath to shoot the interior of the Assembly Rooms but when I got there, it had been rented out for some sort of National Exhibition, so photography was out. It is cared for by our National Trust and costs an absolute fortune to upkeep, so I cannot blame them for tying to get some money in. Without the National Trust, most of our outstanding historical buildings would simply fall into disrepair. Stephen

Architects John Wood the Elder and his son John Wood the Younger were responsible for some of the most iconic architecture of Bath. The Royal Crescent is actually thirty residential houses that was built between 1767 and 1774. It is one of the best examples of Georgian architecture in the country. All the houses are identical with 114 ionic columns to the front.
