Gallery Layout Changes

By Jorge Torralba

I am thinking of changing the way we present thumbnails on the gallery to be more informative.

Please have a look at this layout http://www.zeissimages.com/newrandom.php and let me know what your thoughts are. Do you prefer it to the standard layout now for thumbnails?

The new layout is consistent in size and shows more info about a photo.

Thanks

I like the layout, and a little more information. It would be nice, if the photographer was willing, to also show the settings for the image taken.

Very nice, Jorge! Much better than the old one. The Space between the rows is just Perfect for separation and info. Will you do the same on FujiFilmImages.com...?

Copy exact. What you get on one you get on the other :)

Not a good idea to force each photo to same ratio of height to width.

As always, there will be the option to keep the original look if you like. This will just decide the default layout.

I think the new layout is a step forward, more info and more ordered in appearance.
