So, we love our Leica and leica glass. Although there are other choices to achieve the same results we still are lured back into the Leicaverse. Habing said that, is it a waste of money or is it all worth it in the end?

Here are my simple thoughts on the M. Please feel free to chime in.

Too many choices out there. This is what makes me realize why I'm drawn to the Digital M. There are no options. Its the only game in town that offers that unique shooting experience. And it does it so naturally. No worries about if fuji, nikon Sony are better because there isn't an alternative. So having a digital Leica M is fully justified if you're a purist.

Can't believe it took me so long o realize that. Been caught in the upgrade world too long.

We know it's flaws and drawbacks but we accept them for what it offers. I'm done looking for better and greater.

How many purists do not post process their images?  Wait a minute, "other choices to get the same results",  and "There are no other options"?  I believe Leica upgrades the M, and offers several newer models. That has got to be part of the upgrade world, and a very expensive one at that. I would like to be able to own one but I can't afford to be a purist. So I compromise with "the other choices". Does wisdom come with age?  Not sure!  My 2 cents also!

I know that for many years!  It's totally over priced and technically always behind comparable othe cameras!

I am not against LEICA, but I would never spend that much money for it!  My 2 cents!
