Dinning Room/Study inside Penrhyn Cottage.
Gamallt is the dog-friendly cottage that Jen & I rented in Pembrokeshire. It sits in a secluded dell next to woods and a small river. This 19th century stone cottage offers no Mobile Phone signal and no Internet access. There is a telephone landline that can receive in-coming calls and emergency out-going calls. Almost total isolation. This was our second year here.

Just got back from a week in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Hired the same cottage in the middle of nowhere as last year. Wonderful range of walks from mountains to the Coastal Paths.

Shot from the Coastal Path in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, West Wales, UK. The Coastal Path offers rugged hiking along the cliffs with spectacular views. Wildlife is varied and Seals are easy to spot at this time of the year. Highly recommended. See: http://www.pembrokeshirecoast.org.uk/default.asp?PID=20

Roch Castle is a 12th-century castle, located near Haverfordwest, Wales.

Built by Norman knight Adam de Rupe in the second half of the 12th century, probably on the site of an earlier wooden structure. Roche is the usual French word for rock, while rupestre signifies a plant growing among rocks. It is now an upmarket hotel. How times have changed!
