Thanks Rick and Debbie. No time traveling yet Rick, a few more images to take. On my first trip to California in 1976, we drove down from Vancouver to San Francisco. We drove down the coastal road and then turned across to the 101. I remember seeing a billboard from the highway outside a town called Eureka that proclaimed "We buy junk and sell antiques". It appealed to our British sense of humor and sums up this place. Steve
Thanks Carol and Steve! I agree, Glacier is an amazing place, we had a real hard time leaving, I was there when I was a kid and it felt like I had come home.
I bet that's an interesting program to be involved in, we saw a black bear while we were there but no grizzlies, although apparently one visited our campground when we were out. I hope she packed lots of warm clothes if she's staying until November. brrrrr!
Great shot. My daughter is actually involved with a Grizzly Bear population study in the backcountry and has been there since the beginning of June. She comes home in November. Seen lots of shots and it is really special. Steve
You have such interesting scenes in many of your photos and you're very good at directing your subjects to complement them. Your work is lovely overall.
