Downtown Concord, MA, known as a place that saw a major turning point in the history of America. Early in the morning of April 19, 1775, Colonists got word that British soldiers were marching on Lexington and Concord to seize and destroy arms and munition stored there. The militia gathered in both towns to await the arrival of troops. This action became to be officially known as the beginning of the American Revolution.
