EOS 5D MK.II with ZEISS DISTAGON F2.8 21MM Sample Photo 516683 By bajanexile

Oblique Light

Notes

William Dunch bought the site in the 1550's and apparently began the present house soon afterwards. This room represents the Dunch's status

If you look carefully, there is a chain fireguard which could be pulled across the fire to stop embers or sparkes flying out into the room. Fires were a real hazard in medieval times and many houses burnt down this way.

I've enjoyed this series of photos as well, they are all very well composed and have such beautiful detail.
