I know Rick. I was just thinking if you'd used a larger aperture (I admit; I'm a big fan of that approach) you'd have blurred out the rather distracting immediate background, and made the subject stand out more.

Keep in mind it is a 100mm lens - relatively close - f7 is probably correct.
