The sun on this morning was barely up. What caught my eye as I worked my way up stream to the lower falls was the reflection of the golden sky on the water.
As we traveled up the mountain road, we entered very thick fog which turned into full blown snow when we approached the top of the pass. It was about 60 degrees down below.
This smaller, yet no less beautiful waterfall is located at the trail head to the main falls. We've traveled here a few times in the early morning just to photograph this little area.
