The couple are friends of mine and their oldest daughter was the bride. I had no official capacity at the wedding and I am sure the official photographers captured better shots. I include this photo not as street photography but just as an entry into the monthly contest where the theme is "smiles." What better smile is there than that of proud parents giving away a daughter?

These are participants in a motorcade for campaigning politicians. The people come out of their homes to watch the motorcades pass by knowing that candy will be tossed to the children but fellow vehicles sharing the roadway find them cumbersome as they congest the roadways.

These are participants in a motorcade for campaigning politicians. The backdrop is the wall to my home. I was tasked by my wife to take some photos of her nephew as he passed by campaigning. The problem was I set up where I could best shoot with a colorful backdrop but for some reason unknown to me his motorcade came from the other direction and the shots of him are not as pleasant as I had to turn.
