The shadow and light really make this a great shot, the bridge and tram caught my eye first but the buildings under the bridge make the scene even more interesting, I love the way the photo is layered diagonally from dark to light, dark to light to dark.

Looking at this one I can surely say that this is way better than the color version. This is a truly amazing shot, and very dramatic I would say.
In the foreground you have an old part of the city, very sharp, detailed and at the background a hazy and vague "new" city.
Well, a big wooow for a wonderful shot.
