Awesome picture. It has such a classic look that can only be achieved with film. This has inspired me to shoot some film this week if the weather improves.\n\n\n
Thank you my friend! I was lucky with the light,
Thank you. It is shot on Untersberg near Salzburg, Austria. The range you see in the distance is Watzmann in Germany. \n\n\n
thanks man, is a beautiful place. How far is innsbruck?
hold your horses, cowboy. you are a liar. I never said you are a dick. making yourself a dick is your own thought. very precise conclusion, I admit.\n\n\n
Come now Mict, you know what you wrote, and in the context you've called me a Dick, and you've unashamedly and intentionally done so again, and are at the same time denying it? To make matters worse you have had the bare faced cheek of calling ME a Liar! You jest! Surely you're command of written English isn't that poor that you haven't realised that you've insulted me repeatedly, and all because I've harmlessly objected to the political overtones? If this is your attitude, you're displaying your age. I tire of this tit for tat and will no longer respond to you.
The man with a gun is a travel portrait of a Policeman in his home and is not and can never be a a political statement - these two different things.
if you fail to understand this then i think you'd best head back to school or go to your bedroom and have a nice think.\n\n\n
you try to teach all us again. isnt it rude to speak like a dick? educated and polite people definitely do not act this way.\n\n\n
I don't recall swearing at you, but you've called me a Dick, which means you also need to go into your bedroom and have a long hard think about needlessly swearing.
And I take it take you mean to say I'm impolite and uneducated. Perhaps.
Anyway, I guess this strange political statement and photo of an armed Militia performing weapon training will make it into the HoF as it seems to have a lot of comments!
Openly speaking,I find your latest posts a bit annoying.Self imposed role of a censor here is just inappropriate.I don't think you are the right person to judge whether somebody else's image is a political statement or not.The first picture in your gallery shows a man with the gun,so how can you blame the others publishing similar photographs? And feel free to present anti-EU or pro-Russian pics if you manage to take some.\n\n\n

Thank you my friends. The G2 and 45mm Planar combo is so versatile and brilliant for portraits especially travel ones. It focusses close so negates the need for a portrait lens at times. And Mr Sharif was my mother's childhood friend.
Its so wonderful how you've just caught enough light…creating a wonderful portrait!\n\n\n
Cheers, the original was in colour, but I thought it'd work better in BW because of the shadow and light
