The newer versions of the Carl Zeiss lenses are surely more sharper than the C/Y old versions wide open. But the colour reproduction and rendering is very different comparing both together. That's why I kept the C/Y version of the 3514 and didn't upgrade when the new lens came out. Anyway thanks for popping in aquilan!
