The magical National Park of Plitvice in Croatia. Very hard to access in Winter as they don't care about the paths when it's cold. You can't get there without snowshoes and the bridges over the lake are under over 2ft of snow.
There is another photographer in the scene... up the slope about a car-length to the right of the third engine; dark clothing, light hat... getting a closer view of the train. I raced ahead of the train, skidded to a halt, jumped over the guard rail and waited less than a minute for the train to look "right".
This is a wine shop with a couple of bed & breakfast rooms upstairs. I can only imagine this might have been intended as a fire exit, not completed... but the "porch light"??? And one hopes it is securely blocked off from the inside, that the guests are not helping themselves from the stock...
