Nice shot but the focus seems a bit off. Then again it is a f/1,4 although at f/8 it should be a tad sharper.

Hello Rick, long time no see! I been dealing with other stuff so I haven't been active on the side until just recently. I have a new ZA 50/1,4 sitting on my desk so I'll be posting as soon as my filters arrive. Nice photo!

Outstanding composition, tones, depth the field, lighting, etc. I just purchased a ZA 50/1,4 and can't wait to start using it. Frankly, I wish it was a 2.0f versus a 1.4f but still. Anyway, nice shot and it goes without saying, the subject material helped.

I really like candid shots like this. Just a wife relaxing on the sofa watching the tube, and the black-and-white works very well with this comp.

I agree that it needs some cropping to focus more on the subject. Even so it’s quite impressive for an action shot with an 85mm 1,4f.
