I have been to Italy for a one week workshop organised by TPW and my teacher was Sally Gall. She gave us an assignment one day that was to make the image that you would like to take with you into a world without any visual information. Not easy to do that in Italy for me, but here is the result.
Cypripedium calculus, beautiful, but it was hard work as there were hundreds of blood thirsty mosquitos all over the place. This image is a focus stack of five images using Helicon focus.
I published a BW version of this image in october. I use Silver Efex Pro a lot and as Google bought NIK Software they are offering their whole collection for free. So this is an experiment with quite a lot of PP.
This is part of a project with the same title. Every image is shot with Zeiss glass, either with M9 or D800E. Please have a look at: http://stickan1.1x.com/gallery/71360
