Hi everyone my first post here, despite the fact I have been a member for a couple of years.
Okay I am bucking the trend somewhat as I have just sold my 100mm f/2 ZF.2 (and associated DSLR and other lenses) and gone and pre-ordered a Sony DSC-RX1!
This camera has all the Zeiss image hallmarks from what I have seen – razor sharpness, great colour and beautifully painted out of focus areas. It is such a departure from a big DSLR (pro with integrated grip) and large manual lenses and I am really looking forward to the experience of literally being able to take my camera everywhere, be somewhat inconspicuous and overcome the fact the camera is fixed at 35mm when my favourite type of photography is portraits!
Congrats ! That is an amazing camera. I know what you mean about taking the camera everywhere. I once shot with nothing but M cameras. The practicality was amazing. But now I shoot with the DSLR's and my latest acquisition is a D4 that jut arrived today.

ZE 50 1.4. I'm not sure if I like it yet. More often than not I find myself itching to grab my 35/2 instead. -- http://pjm.zeissimages.com |

ThinkTank Digital Holster 20 v2.0 mated with an UpStrap and it works great. Very nice for the street. --

My latest acquisition is a Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Head with P-50 Lens Plate to better handle my legacy telephoto collection. It save my back but cost me an arm! -- http://mjl.zeissimages.com |
